Monterrey Institute of Technology, Mexico
Founded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology during World War II, this respectable institution is a pillar of the Monterrey community.  The city produces a lot of engineers and other high-tech degreed individuals, and the city is in many ways more US-like than Mexican, even to the point that the football team at this school plays American football, not soccer.

This building in quite interesting- the left building is a mirror image of the other one.  I am not sure of it's function, other than I was told it contained a lot of labs and places where students could do a lot of their work.  Another interesting note- the public areas of the university are all wired for the Internet.  Students wander around with laptops, and jack in to the network and can work outdoors.
