Mission San Juan Capistrano
The large church is attached to the older Mission complex. It's stunning white is what first got my attention.  After that, I followed an aged wall around to what turned out to be the entrance to the mission itself, with it's charming 200 year-old buildings and very beautiful courtyards, in full bloom in April.  This is the place famous for the swallows that return every year on the same day.
