| If you are visiting this
site and came to this page from outside my
3D
Photography web page- welcome! I've added this page
to my site to show you the best of the topic of Castles and to
explain to non-3D oriented visitors how this gallery of images
works. Below are links to some of my best photographs of
Churches and Cathedrals, in 2D. Below
that are links to the 3D galleries, and also
links to the rest of my 3D site explaining how to view them.
Enjoy! |

25 December 2001:
North America (Arizona)
During my travels of Europe, the North America, South America, and
Australia, I have photographed more churches than any other single
subject (not counting "outdoors" as one subject). I have a
large number of 3D pictures of churches, and a more than healthy
complement of two-dimensional shots as well. The 2D shots are
highlighted below, and the 3D shots are below that. You can
also navigate to either on the left side of this view.
These collections of my best church and cathedral shots are grouped
by country or region. These 2D galleries to the right are to
give you an overview of the places I have traveled. Below
is a map showing the collections of 3D church photos that I have
taken. In addition, there are other links that will take you
to my main 3D web site,
www.3dphoto.net, and there you can find instructions on how to
view them (or click on How to View on the left).
On the map below, or the
navigation bar on the left, click on the region or country, or the
text labels below it to see a particular group of photos. If
you are not sure what 3D Photography is all about, then I recommend
you visit my 3D
Photography site for more information. If you need
instructions on how to view them, please visit my
Viewing Guide for
instructions. This site primarily uses the Cross-Eyed method
for viewing. In the future, I will be adding anaglyph images
(red/blue glasses) as well to some of the better images. See
my Glossary for a
definition of terms. |

This
site supports the JPS, or JPEG Stereo, image standard. If your
browser has Java enabled (check your preferences), then you should not
have a problem viewing them. The better images are in this format
(25-30%), and they are higher resolution, so will take longer to load.
However, you also have a large choice of viewing preferences, including
anaglyph, cross-eyed, parallel, and LCD shutter glasses. The viewing
applet is provided for free by
Andreas
Petersik. All images on this site that are in this format have a
yellow border around them to warn you of the slightly longer download
times associated with the larger file format.
