Kuru
Kuru is a tiny town north of Tampere on the way to Seitsemisen National
Park. I found there a pleasant cemetery and this beautiful red
church. While I was taking these pictures, a car pulled up and the
minister got out. Turns out that, though older, he spoke some English and
I got a tour and a little history of the church (though I have now forgotten
some of it). It's complete with wooden shingles and a war memorial out
front. The headstone is at the cemetery, and I really liked the old wooden
quality of it.
