Metz- St. Etienne (and St. Ségolène)
Metz was a pleasant surprise for a rather industrialized area.  I had just driven down from Luxembourg and was not overly impressed with this corner of France, when I stumbled on this town.  The Gothic St. Etienne was started in 1250 and is a splendid cathedral to visit.
