Notre Dame
There are few churches more famous than Notre Dame.  Started in 1163, it was one of the early Gothic churches and took the better part of 150 years to build.  It sits on an island in the middle of the Seine in the 4th arrondissiment.  At night it is downright ghostly in appearance, even more so in the picture I took where the camera slipped.
