Lincoln Cathedral
Located in Lincoln, in the Fens not far from Nottingham, this massive cathedral was started in 1070 by Bishop Remigius.  Much of the church was rebuilt starting in 1123 after a massive fire.  Then, in 1185 an earthquake damaged it (?!) and it was rebuilt one more time.
