Nuremberg
Nuremberg is the next major town north of Munich, where I lived for six months. The Gothic Lorenzkirche, or St. Lawrence Church, was started in the 13th century.  Another Gothic church, St. Sebaldus Church dates from 1225.  This is a visually interesting town with many other interesting buildings.  The weather was not too good when I was there, so I don't have a great record of the place.
