Worms Cathedral
If you are Christian and not a Catholic or Orthodox, here is probably why.  This is the cathedral where Martin Luther nailed his thesis to the door defending his doctrine.  That doctrine became the Lutheran Church, one of the first main splits from Catholicism since Orthodoxy.  It was built in the 11th and 12th centuries.
