Milano Duomo
This 14th century gothic cathedral is probably the most grandiose in the whole of Italy.  It is beautiful from the ground level and inside as well, located on the Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral Square) next to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, a beautiful shopping arcade covered with an arched glass ceiling.
