Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo
San Antonio is home to four missions, which comprise the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.  San José was founded in 1720.  Though parts of it are in ruin, the church is intact and still in use today.  This is the largest of the missions in the area.  The arched area in ruins are the remnants of a convent built in 1770.
