Tucson, Arizona
Tucson is much smaller than Phoenix, but much
preferred by some. It has far less pollution, is higher in elevation and
somewhat cooler. It has Mt. Lemon in it's back yard, and a National Park
just outside the city limits to the east and to the west (Saguaro National
Park). There is far less traffic congestion as well, and the allergies
that snow birds have brought to Phoenix by importing their favorite grasses,
leading to, well, less congestion.
