San Xavier del Bac, Arizona
San Xavier del Bac is one of the great Spanish missions in the west and southwest of the US.  This one was founded in 1699 by an Austrian Jesuit, and later completed by the Franciscans, who for some reason never finished the right tower.  It is still in use today, and the interior is full of frescoes.
