Thorncrown Chapel, Eureka Springs, Arkansas
A rather amazing little chapel, Thorncrown Chapel was completed in 1980 on private land. It was a good location with a good view, so the owner, Jim Reed, decided to build a chapel. He conscripted E. Fay Jones of the University of Arkansas to design it. It has since won numerous architectural awards and has been visited by 5 million people.
