Fordyce Bathhouse, Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas
The Fordyce Bathhouse is another center of activity, but it's no longer operational. Instead, it's a museum, preserved by the National Park Service. You can go in and take a self-guided tour and get a snapshot of public views of healthcare and fitness a century ago.
