Pinnacles, Ozark National Forest, Arkansas
Western Arkansas is quite beautiful. Bisecting the western half of the state is Route 6 National Scenic Byway. It's a gorgeous north-south drive that runs from Hot Springs to the Missouri border. This was about an hour's drive north of Russellville (I-40), and it's just called Pinnacles. It was a couple mile hike total, and an easy one. It was quite a cool hike to make, and there were at least a dozen formations.
