Exploratorium, San Francisco, California
The Exploratorium is a hands-on, non-profit museum of science, art and human perception. It is on the grounds of the Palace of Fine Arts next to the Presidio, and was founded by physicist Frank Oppenheimer in 1969, and he was its chairman until his death in 1985.
