Rooftop View, San Francisco, California
We stayed with my wife's family on Greenwich Street, one block behind the curvy part of Lombard Street (and hence my firsthand knowledge about the rowdy motorcyclists). Their rooftop view was this- looking out towards Oakland across San Francisco Bay. At night the distant hills were bejeweled with lights and beautiful.
