The cardinals in Hawaii are a bit different than those on the mainland. This one is called a Hawaiian Red Crested Cardinal, and was flitting around while we ate breakfast at a cafe at a golf course in Poipu (I don't play golf, it was just one of the few places that served breakfast meals in Poipu outside of the hotels).
