This was an early view of the absolutely stunning Na Pali Coast on the northwest side of Kauai. It is only accessible by air, boat or on foot- no cars. It is so stunning that it is a goal of mine to get back there someday and see it up close. I really want to have a picnic lunch on this beach, and swim here. Also, this beach was featured in the movie
Seven Days, Six Nights
, with Harrison Ford and Anne Heche in 1998. There is apparently an archway connecting the two beaches in the rock that divides them.
