This is probably my favorite shot, despite the lack of vivid colors. The exploding sun over the clouds, to me, looks like a frosty sunrise over Antarctica, somewhere I would really like to see someday. One thing to note here- it was about 40-45F, or 5C give or take. And the winds were brutal- 40-50mph sometimes (80kph gusts). It was freezing, so your photographer paid a small price to get these shots :)
