Here's another view into the crater. We were bundled up in sweaters, hats, gloves, and a warm coat, and still it was hard to be outdoors for very long. Beautiful as it was, we did not feel like hiking down into the crater (not to mention, we had gotten up at 2:30am to make the sunrise in time, so we were not bustling with energy).
