At the end of Uakea Rd in Hana is a poorly marked path to get to the famous Red Sand Beach. Do not park in the hotel parking, or you will get towed. You must street park (and lock up your car), and hike through the school playground and exit the side towards the beach. Then take the low road to your left to get to the Red Sand Beach. First, I took the high road, and saw this old Japanese cemetery, definitely worth a few minutes visit.
