In Haleakala National Park, in the remote seaside part of it, is Oheo Gulch, brilliantly renamed by marketeers as the Seven Sacred Pools. There's nothing sacred about them, and there's over 20 of them total, so mostly they are still referred to as Oheo Gulch. Not romantic sounding, but it's the original name. We were fairly close to the Pacific in this shot, showing a string of waterfalls up the hill.
