The road back from Kailua Beach (a wonderful beach- one of the best in Oahu) back to Honolulu goes through a pass in the Nu'uanu Pali coastal ridge, and there is a very scenic overlook, looking back out eastwards towards the coast, and gives spectacular views of the rugged coast.
