Ohio River
This is the mighty Ohio River, which flows into the mightier Mississippi River, and that's Cincinnati on the far bank.  The was the first bridge to cross the Ohio River, called The John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, was built in 1867 by Mr. Roebling, and was the longest suspension bridge at the time.  Mr. Roebling then went on to design the Brooklyn Bridge in New York.  An interesting side note- it was another Cincinnatian, Joseph B. Strauss, who designed the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.  I'm standing on a restaurant-boat in Kentucky for this shot.
