Great Falls, Montana
These are the Great Falls, for which the nearby city was named after.  I don't know whose idea it was to place a dam strategically on top of the falls.  I think they could have set it back a few hundred yards at least.  Anyways, the reduced water flow does make it possible to see more clearly what the falls go over.
