Hole, Wyoming
Northwest of Jackson is Jackson Hole, the expensive ski resort. You can still ride the lifts to the top of the mountain in the summer, giving you great views of the valley below, the Tetons, and westward into Idaho. Our view was a bit obscured in the distance by the ever-present smoke from the summer fires.
