Yellowstone NP, Mammoth Hot Springs (New Blue Spring)
At the other end of the spectrum (literally), the digital camera seems to bring out the reds. The true colors of this spring are somewhere in the middle. Here you can see the icicles of hardened minerals hanging down on the lip of the highest terrace, near the top of the photo. Click on the image to enlarge it and you'll see a little more detail.
