West Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
I've been to Yellowstone twice, but unfortunately the first time I missed the West Thumb area of Yellowstone Lake. There is a thermal area right on the shore, with geysers in the water and boiling cauldrons just onshore. This is a view of some of the hot water draining into the cold lake.
