Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
One of the remarkable things about Pittsburgh is that when you are driving in from the south, you don't see very much of the city.  You see hills.  Then, on the highway, you see a sign telling you that a tunnel is ahead.  When you emerge from the tunnel, voila- there's Pittsburgh gleaming on a peninsula between the rivers.  It's quite a site, and one I remembered fondly from my 1988 trip there.  This shot is taken from the top of the ridge from whence you tunneled under.
