Statue Of Liberty, New York
This Statue of Liberty photo was taken on a very cloudy day. I have to admit up front that I altered this image by replacing the overcast sky with a gradient from the Big Ben picture. The depth in the image is good, it's just that the photo was mediocre and I haven't been back there to take a good one. So, for you purists out there, if you want to skip this one, I understand. The fringing pattern surrounding the statue is a result of the JPEG compression. This is the only image I have altered in this gallery (not counting dust-speck removal).
