World Trade Center, New York City
This is the view up from the plaza of the World Trace Center.  The globe sculpture in the foreground partly survived the collapse of the buildings and is now on display in Battery Park, a short distance to the south.  It was not repaired, and is now a monument to the calamity in its damaged form.
