Austin, Texas
Austin has a spectacular state capitol
building. It is as tall as the nation's capitol building in Washington,
D.C., and built out of pink granite. It's quite imposing a structure, and
you can easily spend a few hours here. Hint: Go on a Sunday
morning, as it opens at 10:00 and many people are either in church or recovering
from their Saturday night revelry (it is a college town, after all).
