Continuing the sequence, you are now looking
straight across and down some from the fourth level of the dome- the highest we
were allowed to go that day, since the dome exterior was closed. Click on
this image to get a larger version, and to remove some of the resampling
artifacts. The wooden banisters look like a warped piano keyboard.
You can just see the ground floor, where I stood and took the first shot in this
series. The photos on the lining the three visible floors (and the one I'm
standing on) are painted portraits of all of Texas' ex-governors. Also, I
have color-corrected this and the following shot to remove the effect of
incandescent lighting taken with outdoor film.
