| Built in approximately 1913, this courthouse is still in use
today. Seeming to be a magic number in many counties- this is the
third courthouse to occupy this location. The previous version had
burned down in 1912. For the hasty construction of this
courthouse, the brick came from Elgin, Texas, the granite from Burnet county,
