Johnson County
Built in approximately 1913, this courthouse is still in use today.  Seeming to be a magic number in many counties- this is the third courthouse to occupy this location.  The previous version had burned down in 1912.  For the hasty construction of this courthouse, the brick came from Elgin, Texas, the granite from Burnet county, the marble from Georgia, and the white stone from Indiana.
