Medina County
The Medina County Courthouse was completed in 1893, a year after the county seat was moved here to Hondo from Castroville.  It is of a Classical Revival style, covered in yellowish limestone from a nearby ranch.  Between 1939 and 1942, a two-story wing was added to each side, visible in this photo.
