Old Courthouse, Dallas, Texas
The old courthouse looks almost like a castle in downtown Dallas.  It is no longer functioning as a courthouse, but as a tourist bureau.  Long ago we reached a level of crime that required a far larger, and less elaborate building.  This is at least one thing that Texas is famous for- it's courthouses.  A long term goal of mine is to start photographing the various courthouses in the county seats.  They are grand in scale.
