Reunion Tower, Dallas, Texas
Mr. Microphone, as a friend of mine has called
it. Ornamental by design, it sits approximately 42 stories tall, and if
you are visiting Dallas, it offers splendid views in all directions. It
has an observation deck, a restaurant (expensive!) and a lounge. At night,
it puts on a light show, effectively putting an exclamation point on the western
edge of downtown Dallas. You can also see downtown Fort Worth in the
distant on a clear day (or night). The Hyatt Regency is the glass complex
that sits next to it, and in the foreground you can see a passenger train that
has stopped at Union Station- the location of this photo.
