Former Bank One Tower, Fort Worth, Texas
You are not imaging this- the tower is covered in wood.  On March 28, 2000, a large tornado swept through downtown Fort Worth- this being it's biggest victim.  While some buildings were outright demolished, the tower withstood the storm, but the damage was severe.  Not only were most of the windows blown out (and amazingly no one was killed by it), the water and wind damage rendered the building too expensive to renovate.  It other words, it was totaled.
