Bluebonnets, Willow City Loop, Texas
Further west and south of Llano is the spectacular Willow City Loop.  Bluebonnets are the state flower of Texas, and they abound everywhere through Hill Country.  This loop, consists largely of private land, though you are allowed to drive through on the road.  The northern part is mostly fields of flowers, while the southern part is more varied with canyons and rocky outcroppings.  Altogether, it's about a 15-mile drive.
